As from the time that they started dating, they became involved in working with young people. They always had a heart for young people, believing that God wants to make them successful in all areas of life. Pastor Hennie received a prophetic word in the early ‘90’s “Hennie, Youth of the Nations”. This just confirmed the heart that both he and his wife have for young people. They believe that young people must get out of the mould and the pattern in which they grew up and get into the pattern and plan that God has for their lives according to Jeremiah 29:11. This is to get rid of a poverty and slavery mentality and start becoming prosperous, victorious and very successful and influential in society.
Being a motivational speaker, Pastor Phillicia likes to influence people to live life to the fullest for God. She is an exceptional example herself.
Pastors Hennie and Phillicia believe that according to the Bible, every person has a very important role to play and calling to fulfil in the latter day church. Through faithfulness and keeping on standing through many challenges, trials and tribulations, they have succeeded in raising up a Kingdom ministry of allowing people to become champions that have the potential to change cities and nations.
Believing strongly in young and old people alike, they now have a ministry of more than 900 people. God has anointed them to continually raise up a generation of overcomers. Through the years they could see how people who were nobodies were transformed into somebodies, becoming successful and prosperous. These people are respected, trusted, loved and believed in.
God has given to them a vision that will come into fulfilment through the heartbeat of cell life. The church has received a primary assignment to constantly winning and discipling people for Jesus Christ.
As a young boy, Pastor Hennie was always counting the cars outside the church. He was very concerned of people not coming to church and serving God. Whilst being in the army, he had the opportunity to play in movies and dramas.
As a young girl, Pastor Phillicia was already different in the sense of loving God and making Him first in her life. At a very young age she was already involved in singing, dancing, drama and public speaking. Under the submission of her husband, she has raised up a powerful, anointed music team with a music pastor and 80 members involved in the Praise and Worship team. All the art forms, including banners, flags, dancing, singing, drama. mime, painting, etc. are all welcome during services in keeping with the word of God.
Pastor Hennie and Phillicia understand that the end-time church will need to operate out of worshipful hearts unto God. It is only His presence that will cause the anointing to touch and change people’s lives, breaking the yoke of slavery so that sinful hearts will be turned back to God and He would receive all the Glory!
