This zone is an amazing representation of diversity within God’s kingdom as numerous races, ages and nationalities participate to take His kingdom forward. From age 7 to over 60, Black, Chinese, Portuguese, white and a few foreign nationals make up this diverse group. Every person as an individual forms part of the bigger picture within this team and all are encouraged to become champions for God.

 

Every person whether divorced, single, married, unemployed rich or poor has an opportunity to flow with God’s plan for His children. The only thing that is required is a heart for God and for His people.

We have many testimonies of what God has done for people in the zone that are truly remarkable.

 

As pastor of the Zone it is my greatest desire to see each person achieve greater and greater goals in every aspect of their lives. Our influence must be every day and in every way representing God’s plan for His kingdom through us.

 

We have cells on Wednesdays and socials on the third Saturday of every month. Due to the nature and make up of our zone, we cater to all the people within the zone, occasionally catering to specific groups if the need arises.

 

We have paintball events, Starting with mountain biking soon, starting with Scrabble evenings. Our zone also fellowships at many different places as we believe life is too short to be boring!

 

The vision is for each person to reach out to many people but focus on instilling and demonstrating God’s goodness and purpose through them to at least 2 people. Each person is challenged to take up the call of God on his or her life and respond by being changed with the Word of God and through the direction of leadership. The vision is double by the end of the year, not only with numbers but with fervent disciples of God who represent Him accurately to the world.

 

Our Zone has cells in Edenvale, Germiston suburbs and in Katlehong, with people traveling from as far as Rosebank to attend. Our challenge is not the distance but to ensure that when people travel from far, their sacrifice is well rewarded with continual encounters and life changing meetings with Jesus.
